This course will bring you up to date on all the latest corneal refractive surgery technologies available in the United States. Special emphasis will be given to the latest innovation in corneal refractive surgery; Small Incision Lenticule Extraction (SMILE). Benefits and limitations of all current available treatments will be discuss. General surgical complications will serve as a platform for discussing unique technology specific complications. Clinicians will leave with a better understanding of these procedures as well as a template for counselling and clinical management.
